We set off on a quest in the summer of 2014 to find all of the Norfolk mermaids. To this date, we have found 94! Here is our blog about the mermaids and the newspaper article about our quest. Since we live in Chesapeake, we thought it only fitting to have a quest to find all of the Chesapeake Blue Heron statues. This is a new project for our city and there are not nearly as many as Norfolk's mermaids. To this date, there are apx. 10 of them. Here is a recent article about them.
